Drayson Racing makes an electrifying debut at Goodwood
Posted on: Sun, 01/07/2012 - 15:49Drayson Racing Technologies recorded a historic milestone in the development of electric vehicle technology this weekend as it debuted its electric-powered prototype racing car, the B12/69EV, and achieved a new record for electric cars in front of the thousands of motoring fans at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb. Paul Drayson’s second timed run of the day on Sunday 1st July of 53.91 seconds placed the car eleventh overall and fastest electric car. The unique electric Le Mans prototype racing car attracted a great deal of attention throughout the event both on and off the track, with the crowds amazed by the performance of the B12/69EV, in what was a world first viewing of this technology in action.

Victory sends longtime capstone advisor out on top
After 21 years of leading BYU's Mechanical Engineering Capstone program, Dr. Robert Todd is retiring – but not before he does one final victory lap.
The formula hybrid racecar designed and built by engineering students under Todd's supervision took 1st place this past week at the 2012 SAE Formula Hybrid competition, an international event at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Oxford YASA Motors has achieved management system certification to ISO9001:2008 within just 21 months of the company being formed. The scope of management system certification is the design, development and manufacture of advanced electric motors and generators, and represents a key step in the company’s commercial and operational development.
Kingston's Ion Horse takes third place at the TT Zero

Delta's E 4 Electric is launched
